The Guam Power Authority advises that a power outage is scheduled as follows:
 
Wednesday, 03 March 2021
From: 09:00 AM – 2:30 PM (5.5 hours)
 
The area(s) affected include:  Talofofo – Yona intersection of Route 17 and Route 4, including Water Booster Pump-5.
 
REASON: GPA crews will be clearing hazardous vegetation from main power lines and repairing power line hardware to improve power quality and reliability.
 
Customers using backup generators, please ensure your main breaker is in the OPEN position to ensure the safety of the GPA crews working on the lines.
 
GPA regrets the inconvenience caused to customers in these areas, but the outage is necessary as a safety precaution while the GPA crews are performing this work.
